The trailer starts in the classic Black Panther hip-hop style. Shuri is in her new look, which was seen before in the previous trailer. M’Baku with his new armor. The trailer showcases the new worriers of Wakanda and their new weapons. The trailer also gave us a few of the new cutscenes from the movie, like the one with Namor’s soldiers jumping out of the water. Even more closeups with Namor were revealed. In a scene where Shuri said that ‘He is coming for the surface world,’ this line confirms that since T’challa is gone Namor is attacking Wakanda to acquire it.
A very important scene of Shuri picking up one of the two Black Panther helmets. This signifies that there might be more than one Black Panther in the movie. Also in one scene when She says, ‘they came from the water, they had superhuman strength,’. That line is also a comic book reference. The reference said that Namor was the first Mutant in the DC universe.
Wakanda Forever faced severe recasting, the director opened up
When asked about the challenges that Sarah Finn faced while recasting the actor after the demise of the lead actor due to years of cancer, Sarah said, “I think obviously, his passing was such a shock, and so sudden. I did not have a role to play in whether they were going to keep the Black Panther in, that was Kevin Feige and Ryan Coogler and everyone else’s decision, and I agree: there was no recasting Chadwick.”
Under the direction of Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danai Gurira. Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coe, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. The movie is a sequel to Marvel’s Black Panther, an action thriller. It releases on November 11.
