As per reports, a post has been shared on Facebook in Pakistan, which states that ‘Pathan’ will be screened in Karachi. In this advertisement, the price of a ticket was said to be Rs 900. It was told about the cast of this film that it also has Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Ibrahim, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. The ad instantly went viral and people started asking questions about the quality of the film to the screening time. It was replied that the quality of the film is not HD but it is clear. Some people raised questions on the screening of film in Pakistan. He asked that when this controversial film is banned in Pakistan, then why is it being shown here.
Through advertisements in Pakistan, people were told that the screening of the film would be done at the Defense Housing Authority. The company which has organized the screening of the film in Pakistan is UK based. Its name is Firework Events. This was followed by another announcement on the Facebook page. It was said that all the tickets for ‘the film’ have been booked, but on the huge demand of the people, now they will hold two extra shows. These shows will also be kept on Sundays. After this it was said that the screening of ‘Pathan’, which was to be held on Sunday, will now be held on February 3. However, this post was later deleted from Facebook.
