The process of releasing films directly on OTT platforms, leaving theaters, continues. Now Taapsee Pannu has announced to release of her film Blurr directly on the OTT platform. it’s a psychological thriller film directed by Ajay Bahl.
On Wednesday, the actress informed about the discharge date of the film along with the motion poster. Blurr is Taapsee’s first home production film and is produced by her production house Outsiders Films. Gulshan Devaiah is going to be seen in the lead role alongside Taapsee Pannu. Blur is going to be streamed on OTT platform ZEE5 on 9th December. Together with the motion poster of the film, it’s written that there is more than what meets the eye. Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a woman in the film who is trying to find the cause of her twin sister’s death, but her eyesight is slowly deteriorating.
Taapsee was bandaged for 12 hours during the shooting of the film Blurr
During the shooting of the film, Taapsee was blindfolded for 12 hours to urge into the character of a blind girl. The actress did all add the same situation so that while shooting, there was a slight of reality in her performance. The film has been shot in Nainital, where its schedule ran for 40 days. Taapsee announced Blurr in July last year. The actress was blindfolded on the announcement poster of the film. Two hands were seen trying to get rid of his hands. Taapsee has expanded the scope of her films in the recent past. She is doing offbeat films, starting from biopics to thrillers. Taapsee is especially opting for films in which she plays a central role. Cricketer Mithali Raj’s biopic Shabaash Mithu has arrived on Netflix after theatres. Recently, Taapsee starrer Tadka was released on G5, during which Shriya Saran and Nana Patekar were in the lead roles. This film was directed by Prakash Raj.
