Babil Khan, son of Bollywood actor Late Irfaan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the film ,’Kaala’. While fans are waiting for Babil`s debut, the actor does not like the word debut at all. Along with this, he also said that if he was not the son of star kid or Irfaan Khan, no one would have care about him.

When Babil was asked about the rejection of the word ‘debut’ during an interview, he objected to it. He said, ”If i was not Irfaan Khan`s son, nobody would have bothered about my debut. I would be trying to get into films, giving auditions and maybe getting a part. Getting recognition through your work is more than just inheriting recognition. I feel the words ‘debut’ and ‘launch’, these things always make the person bigger than the story and the film. Watch the interview here;
Further Babil Khan sad that, ”From the beginning i wanted to respect my mother`s upbringing. When i got the film, i was happy that i am playing a supporting character in a female lead film, it was very important for me. I does not seem easy to me at all and makes me very uncomfortable. Why would an artist want that? That is not me. The word debut makes me little sad..

Let us inform you that, ‘Kaala’ has been directed by Anvita Dutt. In this, Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukhrjee are going to be seen in lead roles. The story of the film is based on the complicated relationship between a singer and her mother, set in Kolkata 1940s. Babil appears as Tripti`s rival in the film. The film will release on OTT platform Netflix on December 1. It may be noted that Irfaan Khan passed away in April 2020.
