As for the mixed reports of Brahmastra doing a flop or a hit, reports are still coming off it crossing a 200 crores mark this Sunday in the overall markets worldwide. As per the director, Vivek Agnihotri is not in the ‘dumb’ race.
Director Agnihotri is nowadays in the news due to his recent comments on Brahmastra, he recently made false claims on Brahmastra that made the makers unhappy. Recently in his statement where he called out the Boycott of Bollywood and compared Bollywood to a ‘Fake business model’. Now, Brahmastra’s movie collections reportedly surpassed the earnings of Brahmastra. People are teasing Vivek Agnihotri on social media to which he later reacted.

Thanks. #NotBollywood.‘ Here Vivek is referring to the rumors of Brahmastra’s makers bribing or tricking the theatre chains by showing wrong reports of the earnings.

According to the sources Brahmastra earned up to 17 crores on a recent Sunday. With Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in their main cast, the movie has surpassed the mark of 350 crore mark worldwide and 200 crores in the domestic market. This means that the movie is above The Kashmir Files in terms of overall earnings.

In an interview talking about the controversies, Ranbir Kapoor revealed an insightful detail on the budget of the movie, ‘These days, we are reading a lot where people are discussing the budget of the film. People are saying this much is the budget and this much is the recovery. But Brahmastra is unique being where the budget is not just for one film but for the whole trilogy.’
