Sooraj Bartajya is the same director who gave directed Hum Sath Sath Hai, Maine Pyar Kia, Hum Apke Hain Kaun, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Actually, Sooraj Bartajya is the director of the upcoming wholesome movie Uunchai. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. It’s about a group of 3 friends who scale Mount Everest in honor of their old late friend. Meanwhile, the Uunchai trailer launched recently is getting its love across the nation, a movie dedicated to old people and the movie signifying friendship.
Salman Khan initially wanted to be a part of the film
In the launch event of the movie’s trailer, Sooraj Bartajya revealed that Salman Khan once wanted to be a part of the movie. Sooraj said, ‘When I was making this, Salman asked me, ‘Sooraj, what are you making? Why are you going to the hills?’ He was very curious about the movie and also said, ‘I can do this film!’ I said no! Because we all know he can climb mountains. But I needed people who can look as if they can’t,’.
Recently the actor caught dengue and had to take a leave from the famous ‘Bigg Boss season 16’s Weekend Ka Waar,’ on which later he asked Karan Johar to host the show. Salman is nowadays busy with his several movies in the pipeline. The actor has Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Tiger 3 and he also hosts season 16 of Bigg Boss.
