Prabhas starrer Adipurush is releasing on the 8th of October this month. The movie is continuously slammed because of its poor VFX and wasting the movie on such big budget. Netizens are calling the movie ‘cheap copy of Game Of Thrones and Harry Potter’. While the makers are silent on it the director of the movie broke his silence on the following comments.
In an interview when reporters asked Om Raut the director of Adipurush he said, “I was disheartened for sure, not surprised because the film is made for a larger medium-the big screen. You can cut it down to some extent but can’t bring it down to a mobile phone. That’s an environment I can’t control. Given a choice, I’d never put it on YouTube but that’s the need of the hour. We need to put it there so that it reaches a wide audience.” said the director.
Prabhas starrer is the most expensive Indian film ever made, 500 CRORES
Prabhas in the movie is playing the role Shri Ram. While Kriti Sanon is playing Sita in the movie. With a massive creative potential for the role Shri Hanuman, the role is still not satisfying. The scenes which could have been shot really really good in actual forests and actual sets were computer generated. According to the viewers the trailer is filled with ‘poor’ and ‘cheap’ CGI.
People are even saying to boycott the movie. According to one of soo many tweets on the Twitter, ‘We are very disappointed with the poor and cheap CGI movie and you taking bollywood in your movie it’s ridiculous it’s better to not release the movie #BoycottBollywood #BoycottAdipurush,’. While another user wrote, ‘Ramayana or any superhero film? This movie needs to be stopped from release just not boycott as it’s tampering our greatest ancient culture #BoycottAdipurush #BanAdipurush.’
The first look of Ravan’s 10 heads was also criticised because of the poor CGI.
