We all are aware of Amitabh Bachchan’s unimaginable stardom. There was a time when stardom start to have a debt of ₹90 crores. Paresh Rawal recalled how he deal with the situation with Pride. In 1999, Amitabh Bachchan was on the verge of Bankruptcy when his production company faced major losses. His company name was Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL). Eventually, this leads to a debt of ₹90 crores. After that back-to-back success of hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati and as an actor in Mohabbatein. In an interview with Neelesh Misra’s The Slow Interview, Paresh Rawal was asked what he thinks about Amitabh Bachchan. He said, “Did anyone can even imagine these things happened to such a star? I remember him before the debt and after the debt, believe me, he changed a lot. For me, he is a classic example. You can learn so much from him, especially about nobility.” Furthermore, Paresh Rawal revealed that once he asked Mr. Bachchan whether he disclose this to his family or not. Mr. Bachchan’s reply made him awed by his character. Mr. Bachchan Said “Why disturb them? let them leave.”
“He owed that much money but he was never bad-mouthed to anybody. He inherits values from his father Mr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Amitabh still maintains the same dignity on his good or bad days.
