Soon this series will released, before its release the actor talked about the Mughals and their buildings during a conversation. He said, ‘Where people do not have the right information about history and the right arguments, there is an empire of hatred and misinformation. Perhaps this is the reason why a section of the country now keeps blaming the past, especially the Mughal Empire. The actor further said, ‘I don’t get angry on this, rather I laugh.’

Naseeruddin Shah further said, ‘If the Mughal Empire was so monstrous, so destructive, why don’t those opposing it demolish the monuments built by them? If whatever they did was terrible, then demolish the Taj Mahal, demolish the Red Fort, demolish the Qutub Minar. Why do we consider the Red Fort sacred? It built by a Mughal. We do not need to glorify him nor do we need to defame him.
