Jonathan Majors aka Kang From Marvel Studios Allegedly ASSAULTED A 30-Year-Old Woman, ARRESTED

Actor Jonathan Majors, who plays Marvel’s Kang the conqueror in the movie “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” was under detention in New York following an altercation with a 30-year-old woman on domestic assault charges.

“Jonathan Majors had done nothing wrong,” said his lawyer

The woman was on the way to the hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck,” according to a statement from the NYPD. She told investigators that she had been assaulted, Variety says. The accusations were doesn’t make sense by a Jonathan Majors representative. His representative told Variety that Jonathan Majors had done nothing wrong. “We anticipate clearing his name and putting this right.”

The police report states that at around 11:14 a.m., the officers got a 911 call. According to a preliminary inquiry, a 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were in a domestic quarrel, according to police. “The victim reported being assaulted by the police. Without incident, police took the 33-year-old man to jail. The person was to a nearby hospital in stable condition despite suffering minor head and neck injuries.

Jonathan charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment

 

Strangulation, assault, and harassment were three potential charges in the police report.

Recently, Jonathan Majors appeared in several big-budget movies. In “Creed III,” he played Damian Anderson opposite co-star and director Michael B. Jordan. In the current film “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” he also played the Marvel villain Kang the Conquerer. Now fans are curious to see if Marvel Studios decides to recast their ‘Kang’ or wait until the cloud clears.

Although fans are hoping to see him play Kang in the upcoming MCU. Either way phase 5 will have to delay. His most recent film, “Magazine Dreams,” which had its world debut at Sundance, has been picked up by Searchlight Pictures and will hit theatres on December 8. The actor has also agreed to take a role in “Da Understudy” from Amazon Studios.
