The following films use footage from prior films because they have a shared history. With Paul Walker’s Bryan being the most prominent.
The recently released Fast X video emphasizes introducing Dante and building up his showdown with Dominic and the other Fast family members. The trailer opens with Rita Moreno’s Toretto grandma making her first appearance, setting the tone for the movie’s emphasis on family, which is consistent with the main subject of the Fast Saga. The antagonist of the film, John Cena’s Jakob, who played Dom’s brother, is also returning, but it’s unclear how his presence will impact the battle between Dante and Dom.
Brie Larson making her first interesting appearance
Brie Larson’s first appearance as Tess is one of the Fast X trailer’s other major revelations. She appears to be Dom’s ally, warning him of Dante’s plans for vengeance. Although not much is known about the character, it’s still feasible that she finally chooses the other side, as has been hinted at in relation to the film. The reunion of Han Lue and Deckard Shaw will also be highly intriguing, especially since they appear to have put the past behind them.
Overall, the first Fast X trailer is a terrific way to kick off the movie’s marketing campaign. Widespread interest in The Fast Saga implies that the film will do well at the box office. Despite this, having a well-thought-out and effective marketing strategy still helps, and this new trailer certainly did that.
