Yash Chopra & YRF’s history is honored in the much-discussed Netflix documentary series The Romantics. For the past 50 years, India and Indians have been influenced by their culture. It became popular in February and received plaudits from all quarters. In Dhoom 2, Hrithik Roshan is portrayed as a cunning robber. The documentary series discusses what makes the Dhoom franchise the trendiest in India right now.

The Greek God of Bollywood has been a box-office favorite owing to countless blockbusters. Since his 2000 debut in father Rakesh Roshan’s classic. “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai,” which became a runaway hit because of his dances and action. While the actor demonstrated his Midas touch with the “Krish” franchise, “Dhoom,” “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” “Bang Bang!” and “Jodha Akbar.”

According to Hrithik, Dhoom is one of the largest franchises in the nation. Nothing like that had ever been attempted, carried out, or perfected. I think the Dhoom series grew better and better with each installment.

While Dhoom was inspired by Aditya Chopra’s aim to provide India with a new breed of heroes who will age gracefully. He saw the new anti-heroes as thrill-seekers who wouldn’t think twice about breaking the law. Hrithik goes on, “I had no doubt that Adi would become a director. He has the talent to take his concepts and make them into spectacles and box-office hits for the big screen, as seen in the Dhoom trilogy. But in my view, he has gone far beyond. Adi is now, in my opinion, more than just a filmmaker. Aditya is a more thorough development of film, in my opinion. He is the industry pioneer.”

While the mega-stars and legends of Hindi film have gathered to discuss Yash Chopra and YRF’s contribution to Indian cinema in The Romantics, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukerji, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma are some of the most well-known actors in the world. Smriti Mundhra, an Oscar- and Emmy-nominated director who previously worked with Netflix on Indian Matchmaking and the Never Have I Ever series, is back with The Romantics.
