DC Studios: The Flash Teams Up With Supergirl And Batman Against General Zod, TRAILER OUT !

DC Studios makes its most ambitious revival attempt yet, potentially creating a multiverse with two Batmans and a glimpse of Superwoman.

DC Studios, in the teaser for The Flash, released by Warner Bros. before the Super Bowl on Monday, Ezra Miller’s Flash breaks the DC universe when he time travels to the past to save his family and encounters both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s Batman.

The almost three-minute-long teaser looks to be the first DC movie to truly explore the idea of the universe. It also teases the Kryptonian nemesis General Zod and Superman’s cousin Supergirl (played by Sasha Calle).

Miller’s Barry Allen and himself team up with Affleck and Keaton, two iterations of Batman. FYI this is happening for the first time in the DC Studios. Supergirl on their mission to save the planet from Michael Shannon’s wicked General Zod, first seen in the 2013 Superman film Man of Steel.

Barry went back in time against Batman’s wishes to alter a moment from his past, but now he must deal with the consequences of changing reality. Barry is supported by a team of superheroes from all around the multiverse as he defends the globe from villains from other realities.

In the 2016 film Batman v/s Superman: Dawn of Justice, Miller made his first appearance as the Flash.

Why The Flash can potentially set a new course for DC Studios

The Flash’s official synopsis states that when Barry employs his abilities to travel across time. Sometimes change the course of the past, and two worlds collide. According to the synopsis, after mistakenly altering the future in an attempt to rescue his family. Barry is stranded in a world where General Zod has reappeared and is threatening destruction and there are no superheroes to turn to.

James Gunn and Peter Safran’s vision for the DC Universe is expected to be significantly influenced by the film.

Andy Muschietti is a supernatural horror film director

The director of DC Studios The Flash is Andy Muschietti, best known for directing the 2017 supernatural horror film It. The story’s author is Christina Hodson. The movie’s producers are Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco. It also features Kiersey Clemons, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Antje Traue, and Maribel Verd.

The Flash will hit theatres on June 16.
