Famous film director, critic and writer Faisal Saif passed away. 47 year old Faisal had been ailing for a long period and died on Thursday due to multiple organ failure. He was handed over to the cemetery in Byculla. Faisal Saif was known for writing directing films like ‘Jigyasa’ and ‘Amma’. The film industry is shock due to his untimely demise.

First film made in 2013:

Faisal Saif started his career as an independent music video director. In 2013, he made his first feature film, Come December, which was awarded the International Special Awards for Culture for Storytelling at the Indianpolis LGBT Film Festival. After this, Faisal made the film ‘Jigyasa’ with Rishita Bhatt, which was quite controversial.

Faisal Saif also produced the film ‘Five Crore In Five Hours’ with Pakistani actress Meera. His other films include ‘Main Hoon Part Time Killer’, which was highly controversial. The original title of the film was ‘Main Hoon Rajnikanth’, to which Rajnikanth had lodged objection and its release was stopped. ‘Amma’ and ‘Danger’ are the titles of his upcoming films, whose release date is yet to revealed. In 2015, he announced a film called ‘For Adults Only’, he wanted to cast an international actress in this film. But later he surprised everyone by announcing its closure.

He refused to go to Big Boss:

Saif was about to take a wild card entry as a contestant in the 8th season of ‘Big Boss’ telecasted in 2014. But he refused saying why should he take wild card entry when Rajnikanth has proved him to be the strongest contender?
