Ankita is going to be part of Randeep Hooda‘s movie ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ which is a biopic of late freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. She will be playing the lead role in the movie opposite to Randeep Hooda. She is very much excited for the film. Recently she took social media to share her happiness to the people. She said.” I love the character as it is very challenging and it is an pivotal character which will leave a mark on audience. The story is one of the most inspiring story and needs to be told and I’m happy to be a part of it”. The actress has also shared a photo of the film in Instagram. A brief idea about Ankita Lokhande upcoming film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

The film is based on a freedom fighter named Vinayak Damodar Savarkar who was from Maharashtra’s Nashik. His date of birth is on 28 May 1983. He was a freedom fighter, politician as well as lawyer and writer. He was the first person to give the term ‘Hindutva’. This film is Randeep Hooda’s first debut film as an director. It is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and legend studios. The movie is going to release on 26 May 2023 on the occasion of 140th birth anniversary of Veer savarkar.
