Vivek Agnihotri finally broken his silence over IFFI controversy

Vivek Agnihotri shared a video reply to the IFFI controversy and challenged Israeli Filmmaker to prove The Kashmir Files wrong.

Vivek Agnihotri showed his disappointments over IFFI controversy

After the comment made by the Jury Head of IFFI(The International Film Festival of India) On Kashmir Files. Everyone waited for Vivek Agnihotri’s reply to the matter. Finally, the filmmaker broke his silence and shared a video reply on Twitter. He also challenged Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid to prove the facts of Kashmir Files wrong and asked a couple of questions more. Vivek Agnihotri also claims that if someone proves him wrong he will stop filmmaking. On the verge of ending The International Film Festival of India, the jury head called The Kashmir Files a “Propaganda Movie” and even called it “Vulgar”. Since then many diplomats and politicians asking for an apology and a few registered FIR against him.

In the video, the Filmmaker addresses the controversy by saying “This is not new for me. From the release of The Kashmir Files such things I heard from Urban Naxals, Terrorist Organisations, and those who don’t want Akhand Bharat (people who don’t want to unite India). Surprisingly for me, they have been supported by the Government of India and given a stage to make such a statement. Few of them are living in India”. Furthermore Vivek asked the question “Who are these people?”. He said they are the same people who have a problem when I started to research for the film.

The Kashmir Files depicts the story of the Kashmiri Hindu Exodus from the valley of Kashmir. In the video, Vivek claimed that he interviewed 700 people for the correct fact and they called it a Propaganda movie. So he challenges Israeli Filmmaker and Naxals to prove The Kashmir Files wrong and he will stop making films. Currently, Vivek Agnihotri making the film A Vaccine War which states how India fights back against covid 19.
