Veteran Actor Vikram Gokhale an actor who nailed whatever roles he has been given. whether in a negative part or a family-driven role he was top of his game. After being hospitalized for weeks the actor took his last breath on the afternoon of 26th November. The daily update on his heath was given by Hospitals and family members. They are saying his health condition gradually improved until yesterday when he took his last breath. The actor was on Ventilator support for weeks. Every co-star remembered him and express their condolences. Some of them are Dalip Tahil, Sai Tamhankar, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Ameesha Patel.

Memoir of Vikram Gokhale

The actor was born in Poona in the year of independence 1947. Chandrakant Gokhale is the father of Vikram, Who was himself a theatre artist and worked in films. Vikram Great Grandmother ( Durgabai Kamat) was got the achievement of a first female actor in Indian Cinema. After working for a couple of years at Marathi theatre, Vikram made a Bollywood Debut in 1971. His first film Parwana was alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Though there has been a struggle since his first films. But he never quits he persisted in acting and started to make a place in Bollywood.

Some of the hit films he worked on are Mission Mangal (2019), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007). Not only acted but also worked as a Director in the Aaghaat (A Marathi Film). His Marathi Film Anumati also grabbed the National Film Award in 2013. He won many phenomenal awards for his action. But due to his Throat ailment, he have to take retirement from theatre work in 2016. But he continues to do films and last worked for Sabbir khan’s upcoming film Adbhut. His works will always be remembered.
