Rajkumar Santoshi has revealed in an interview that the shooting of Sunny Deol’s upcoming film Lahore 1947 will begin in Mumbai from March 1. Both are working with each other after 26 years together. For the first time both of them worked together in the film Ghatak. After this both have given many superhit films. Now after 26 years both are going to work together once again.

Lahore 1947 is a film based on the partition. Talking to Pinkvilla, Rajkumar Santoshi said, ‘Yes, after this film, my next film is Lahore 1947. It is based on the background of Partition. It stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. I am very excited to work with him. I was wanting to work with him for a long time but nothing was coming my way. Now I think mine will be bigger than Ghayal and Damini. Lahore 1947 is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floors from March 1 in Mumbai.

Talking about this, Rajkumar Santoshi says, ‘If everything goes according to our plan, we will start shooting for the film in Mumbai from March. We are making Lahore City in Mumbai. Major part of the film will be shot on this set. This is a big film for me. I wanted to make it for the last 10 years but now it is being made. Rajkumar Santoshi also said that he has written Ada Apni Apni film on the lines of Andaz Apna Apna, which he wants to shoot in November.
