Red Chillies Entertainment is a production house owned by Shah Rukh Khan. Their recent outing is Darlings which features Alia Bhatt and was released on the OTT(Over the Top) platform Netflix. Production House already makes the name with some rare content and looking for making experiment with a remake. According to the report of Pinkvilla, SRK’s production has acquired the rights to the 1998 comic caper ‘Dulhe Raja’. It is not confirmed yet but Farhad Samji will be the director of the remake film. Currently, the director is busy making ‘Kabhi Bhai Kabhi Jaan’ which starrer Salmaan Khan.
SRK’s team will reportedly go ahead with the remake if this doesn’t work, they will continue to generate revenue from the film’s television and digital screenings. Apart from Govinda and Raveena, Dulhe Raja also featured Kader Khan, Prem Chopra, Johnny Lever, Asrani, Viju Khote, and Mohnish Behl in pivotal roles.
Currently, SRK is in Chennai for the shoot for Atlee Film Jawaan and will be there for 1 month. After completing the shoot he will travel to Mumbai to shoot the remaining part of Tiger 3 with Salmaan khan. Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. SRK also has Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ in the backpack. Also, Shah Rukh Khan played a cameo in Ayan Mukherji’s film Brahamastra.
