Critics Choice Awards 2023: After Golden Globe another blast of RRR

Critics Choice Awards 2023: SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Rise, Roar, Revolt’ i.e. RRRĀ  has been played all over the world. The film has not only done a good collection at the box office but is also winning awards upon awards. In the past, the film received the Golden Globe Award for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’. Now once again ‘RRR’ has raised the name of India at the global level.

After winning the Golden Globe, Rajamouli’s film has been awarded the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Song. This award has been given only for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’. With this, another achievement has been added to the name of the film. Several films from around the world competed for the Critics’ Choice Awards. ‘RRR’ was up against ‘Where the Crowd Sing’, ‘Guilmeri del Toro Pinocchio’, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and ‘White Noise’ for Best Song. SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ won in this category.

The film has brought laurels into another category. ‘RRR’ has also received the Critics Choice Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. In this category, Rajamouli’s film competes with films like ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘Argentina 1985’, ‘Bardo’, ‘Fall’s Chronicle of a Handful of Truths’, ‘Close’ and ‘Decision to Leave’. Leaving all these films behind, the film RRR has won the Critics Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Whereas Rahul Sipliganj has given voice to the song. If we talk about the collection of the film, then ‘RRR’, made on a budget of 550 crores, has done a business of more than 1000 crores. With this record, it has become the second highest-grossing Telugu film.
