Bollywood is not as inventive or original as South Industry, according to Naseeruddin Shah.

According to Naseeruddin, the South's businesses have been practicing this for years, therefore it is nothing new to them. Even the bizarre song picturizations use their own concepts.

In comparison to the current Bollywood fare, Naseeruddin Shah believes the South Indian cinema industry. Including those in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu—which have grown more inventive and original. The seasoned actor also believes that while South Asian films may be “crass in taste”. Their scripts are always executed flawlessly.

South movies outperforming Bollywood

A number of Bollywood films with star casts have fallen short of expectations in recent years. Whereas South films like “KGF,” “Pushpa: The Rising,” “Kantara,” and “RRR” have far outperformed Hindi films in terms of box office receipts.

The seasoned actor claimed, in an interview with a tabloid, that Hindi films no longer hold as much allure for the viewers as films from the South do. Even the commercial films produced in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu, he said, are far more innovative and original. According to Naseeruddin, the South’s businesses have been practicing this for years, therefore it is nothing new to them. Even the bizarre song picturizations use their own concepts.

South movies put in more effort according to Naseeruddin Shah

Naseeruddin continued: “It wasn’t simply a single dancer in the middle and a line of girls moving erratically. I thus firmly believe that South Indian films put in more effort, and it is obvious why their films are performing better than the majority of Hindi cinema.”

Naseeruddin continued by saying that South Indian films put forth more effort. Which explains why they do better than the majority of Hindi films. The seasoned actor most recently appeared in the Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sensharma, Kumud Mishra, and Shardul Bhardwaj co-starring film “Kuttey,” which was directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj. The movie had a poor box office performance. The next time we’ll see him is in the forthcoming historical drama series Taj-Divided By Blood as Emperor Akbar.
