Anil Kapoor breaks the silence on South Vs Bollywood

Bollywood’s ever green actor Anil Kapoor has ruled the hearts of people with his acting. Even today his fans do not get tired of praising his acting. Not only this, Anil Kapoor’s fans are spread from North India to South Industry, the main reason for which is that Anil Kapoor started his career from South Industry. Today when the debate of Bollywood vs South is going on very loudly. Anil spoke on this issue 35 years ago in an interview in 1987.

Anil Kapoor explains the difference

Recently, Anil Kapoor participated in a discussion show. South vs Bollywood was discussed here. Along with this, the question also arose that where the stardom of actors in the South still remains and they are worshiped like that. That kind of stardom is slowly dying out in Bollywood. In response to this question, Anil said, ‘To tell you the truth, I do not think so deeply. I am not the right person to talk on this subject. Anil’s answer made all the artists present there laugh.

He predicted this before

During this discussion, Anil definitely kept silence on the subject of South vs Bollywood, but 35 years ago he had given his opinion on this issue in an interview. He had said, ‘There are people in Bombay who look down on South films, but in a way you can say that South films have entertained people all over India. They may be called crude, but they are films liked by all.

Anil further said, ‘People may make fun of South’s films, but their audience base is huge.’ Predicting the way South films are ruling the country today, Anil had said, ‘South’s films are made by intelligent people. They make basic films, but there are films which are understandable even to the illiterate people of the country. Apart from Anil Kapoor, there were actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkumar Rao in this discussion. At the same time, Rishabh Shetty and Dulquer Salmaan also participated from South Industry.
