Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 80th Birthday on October 11. His son and wife have came to the set of KBC and gave him surprise. Both of them were the special guests of KBC. As it was Big B 80th Birthday so it was a grand celebration and all the surprises he got was very heart touching. He was surprised seeing his wife and son on the set. Amitabh got very sweet birthday message from his family member. His daughter made a video of her childhood till marriage.
Coming back to the episode Abhishek made an surprise visit to celebrate his father’s birthday. Amitabh Bachchan was stunned on seeing his son and became emotional. After that a video was played which was about Big B ancestral home where his father’s Madhushala poetry and voice was there. To which Amitabh Bachchan couldn’t control his tears to which his son gave him a tissue. The way of giving tissue is exactly same like Big B when he give it to the contestants on KBC. Abhishek shared many memories starting from Big B supporting him in sports event to scolding and pampering him when he fall ill. He also read the Best Script of his life-Mere Paa which made everyone emotional.

To which Abhishek replied that whenever he go there they call him Amar Naati. With this conversation Abhishek told that they were planning this birthday surprise for quite few days. And he also said KBC team helped them a lot in this. And it was a big secret to hide from Big B.
As Amitabh love Bengali Music very much a small video was made where some singer were singing Bengali Folk Music. He loved the song. Another surprise which was waiting was laapsi for him which was a sweet from UP. A clip was shared where,” he was sitting with his father and telling him a person who turns 80 eats laapsi”.
