A complaint seeking FIR against Aamir Khan and others for ‘disrespecting Indian Army’ and ‘hurting religion sentiments’ with Laal Singh Chaddha

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ starrer Aamir Khan which released in threatres on August 11, are facing legal trouble. A complaint has been filed against the actor, co-stars, and makers of the film. In the complaint people says that it this movie is ‘disrespecting the Indian Army and hurting Hindu sentiments’. Aamir has played a character of Army personnel in the film.

 

what`s the exactly matter Is:

A Delhi lawyer submitted a complaint to Delhi police on Friday, alleging that the portrayal of Indian Army in this movie has disrespected armed forces. The complaint was filed against Aamir(one of the producer of film), paramount pictures, and director Adavit Chandan. The advocate Vineet Jindal his complaint to Delhi Police alleged that there was an objection content in this movie. He registered an FIR under sections 153(wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), 153A(promoting enmity between different groups), 298( hurting the religious sentiments of any person) of the IPC against the crews.

 

Reading of the Complaint:

His complaint read, ”In the movie, the makers have depicted that a mentally disturbed person was allowed to join Army to fight in Kargil War. Everyone knows that a well trained soilders were sent to Kargil War but the makers of the film intentionally depicted the said situation to demoralise and defame the Indian Army. Im this movie there is scene where a Pakistani personnel asked Laal Aingh Chadda- ” I offer Namaz and pray, Laal, why don`t you do the same?” and the latter replied, ”my mother said all this pooja paath is a malaria. It causes riots.” The advocate said that this dialouge is aggravating and a defamatory statement aimed at the whole Hindu community. The fim had been facing calls for boycott on social media due to some comments that Aamir said early about India.
