12th Fail film: Vikrant Massey`s 12th Fail to be shot in Delhi`s Mukherjee Nagar

12th Fail film directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film is based on the life of real IAS and IRS officers. The shooting of film has started.

Producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has given many weighty and successful films, is now coming up with a film which shows a different side of the education system. The title of the film is ’12th Fail’. Vidhu is directing this film.

12th Fail is based on Anurag Pathak`s best selling novel of the same title. The film depicts the preparation and struggles of the students to become IPS and IRS officers.  Also 12th Fail is a story inspired by the life events of IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Shraddha Joshi. However, there is no biopic on him.

In 12th Fail Vikrant Massey will be seen in lead role. He has proved his acting skills through many films and series. Regarding this film, the actor said that the film is dedicated to all the students who are dreamers and honest officers. These officers are the backbone of our constitution. Expressing happiness under Vidhu Vinod Chopra`s directorial, Vikrant said that it is a dream come true for him.

However, regarding this film, Vinod said that this film is a tribute to all those people who work hard to fulfill their dreams of becoming an IPS. He also said that he has written this film after all the IAS and IPS officers. This film is dedicated to all of them. If this film inspires even 10 students, then i will consider my effort successful.

Second schedule of shooting of 12th Fail in Delhi

The first schedule of the film has been completed in Chambal near Agra. The second schedule is going to be shot in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. This area of Delhi is also famous for those preparing for civil services. Here meritorious students from all over the county reach with the dream of becoming IAS. However, 12th Fail will be the first film to be shot in this area.
