Films of big superstars like Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana could not show any wonder at the box office. 1. Bachchan Pandey
Box Office Collection: Rs 50 crore
Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey also flopped at the box office. This was Akshay’s first film to flop in 2022.
2.Heropanti 2
Box Office Collection: Rs 26.50 crore
Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 was also rejected by the audience. The audience did not like Tiger Shroff doing the same action every time. Despite having a strong actor like Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film, this film was bad. Kind of got beaten up.
3. Samrat Prithviraj
Box Office Collection: Rs 68 crore
Akshay Kumar’s second release film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ released in 2022 also proved to be a flop. The film was embroiled in controversies even before its release. Akshay even had to change the name of his film.
4. Shamshera
Box Office Collection: Rs 43 crore
Ranbir Kapoor returned to the big screen after a long time through Shamshera. There was a lot of ruckus about Sanjay Dutt’s look in the film. At the same time, the audience did not like Ranbir Kapoor’s look much. This film also proved to be a failure at the box office.
5. Ek Villain Returns
Box Office Collection: Rs 42 crore
Despite stars like Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, John Abraham, Tara Sutaria, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ was rejected by the audience.
6. Lal Singh Chadha
Box Office Collection: Rs 59 crore
Aamir Khan returned to the screen after a long time with this film. Made in a budget of about 180 crores, this film got into controversies. Even before its release and Aamir Khan had to bear the brunt of it at the box office.
7. Vikram Vedha
Box Office Collection: Rs 77.51 crore
Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ was the Hindi remake of South’s release of the same name. After watching South’s ‘Vikram Vedha’, the audience did not get any special response to Hrithik’s film.
8. Thank God
Box Office Collection: Rs 30.75 crore
Ajay Devgan and Sidharth Malhotra’s film Thank God also got embroiled in controversies before its release. Due to the controversy, the names of the characters in the film had to be changed. But still the film flopped at the box office.
9. Ram Setu
Box Office Collection: Rs 64 crore
The year 2022 has proved to be very bad for Ajay Kumar in terms of career. All Akshay’s films flopped this year. The film Ram Setu did not even get the benefit of a big festival like Diwali.
10. Circus
Box Office Collection: Rs 45 crore
Circus turned out to be a flop at the box office despite a director like (presumably) Rohit Shetty and actors like Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandes, Pooja Hegde and more. This time Rohit Shetty’s magic could not work on the audience.
